A world unveiled beneath the palm-filtered sunlight of Old Hanoi, where colonial pavilions rose beside tropical gardens, and artistry became spectacle. Rattan textures, cool tiles, and ornamental palms formed the backdrop of an era hungry for display and discovery. Visitors drifted between silk-clad elegance and architectural geometry, between curiosity and desire. In this fleeting moment, from November 1902 to January 1903, culture was curated: Tonkinese grace illuminated under French grandeur, patterns revealing heritage, and nature reclaiming the edges. L’Exposition 1902 translates that encounter into scarves that feel like souvenirs of a dream, lush, tactile, and sophisticated, capturing the beauty of a meeting of worlds that existed only once, but lingers forever in memory.
Drawing inspiration from Hanoi's 1902 Exposition, L'Exposition 1902 explores a world of tropical gardens, intricate latticework, and scenic landscapes, where nature and ornament intertwine in a celebration of Indochine's enduring beauty.
